Kinsmen Christmas Hamper
For the second year in a row, Silent River Kung Fu is working with the Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain in support of the Kinsmen Christmas Hamper fundraiser. The primary goal of the collection drive is to collect toys, cash (or tap), and gift cards so children of all ages have something this holiday season. Last year the Kinsmen assisted approximately 710 local families or almost 1900 residents in Stony Plain and west Parkland County.
This wouldn’t have been possible without your help!
This year Silent River Kung Fu’s I Hu Chuan team is collecting donations on November 29, November 30 and December 1 at the Red Apple located in Meridian Village Mall, 4401 - 48 Street in Stony Plain. This is a great opportunity for students and families to get involved with not only an SRFK project, but our greater community as a whole. Empathy and Compassion are essential traits for all martial artists.
Shifts are 1 hour and everyone is welcome, with children under 13 requiring a parent to volunteer with them.
Please sign up at the Kinsmen Christmas Hamper or see Sihing Jackie Kohut or Sihing Simon Kohut.
Thank you in advance for your support and wishing you and yours a happy and safe holiday season.
