Children's Class Weekly Re-Cap, April 4-6, 2023

Lil’ Leopards

This week in the Lil’ Leopards class we worked on our listening skills and our ability to follow direction while having all kinds of fund in an obstacle course!

Kung Fu At Home: Ask your child if they know their last name.

Tiny Tigers

In our Tiny Tigers class we worked on our speed, agility and balance, as well as specific techniques like kicks, punches and rolls using both an obstacle course and our loopty-loop bag drill.

Kung Fu At Home: Ask your child to do 5 jumping jacks as fast as they can.

Young Dragons Level 1 & 2

For both Young Dragons Level 1 & 2, we focused on our Wuxin and Dynamic Control curriculum. We began with developing our Stick techniques and eventually progressed to some “real-life” applications while working with a partner. We also worked on our wrist escapes by simulating a “grab” scenario.

Kung Fu At Home: Ask your child how many pounds of pressure it takes to break a joint.
