Open Training
As 2020’s pandemic continues to evolve, so does our class schedule and offerings. We have already announced that our classes will be returning to their regular intervals starting September 8th. Our participant screening procedure and school disinfection protocols will continue to evolve to ensure they will be safe, effective, and practical as we slide into the winter season.
Starting this Saturday, September 12th, we will once again be opening the kwoon up for open training under the following guidelines:
Each participant must pre-register no more than 24 hours prior to the training session to ensure we have no more than 20 participants per session.
Any and all equipment used by students must be safely disinfected by the student after every use.
Sessions will run every Saturday from 10 am until noon except for Saturdays of long weekends and special events.
All students will be screened as if it were a formal class before participating in open training.
Each open training session will be supervised by a black belt and all students must abide by all kwoon rules and social distancing requirements.
Close contact training is only permitted when training with a cohort. Student cohort status must be identified and approved by the supervising black belt prior to contact training.
If everyone continues to respect the pandemic and conduct themselves in a manner that makes it safe for all participants, open training will remain a viable option for all of us.
